Guardians of the Galaxy BOOK TAG

I had to do this. I just had to. I watched Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1 and 2 some time ago and I just had to do this tag. GotG has such a great set of characters that are so easily to fall in love with and this tag was so much fun to do.

1. Star Lord- An Unlikely Hero
Celestine- Flawed duology by Cecelia Ahern
When going into Flawed, Celestine may seem a little spoilt and stuck-up to some people- definitely not hero material. But through the duology, I love how her character grows and how strong she becomes. She turns into a true heroine and I love her character development over the series.

2. Gamora- A Lethal Weapon of a Character
Aelin Galathynius- Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas
I was trying to refrain from mentioning Sarah J. Maas in this tag but I just have to when thinking of a lethal character because Aelin is just about as bad-ass as they come. Aelin is definitely lethal because she's kick-ass, powerful and undeniably clever. She's as cunning as they come and, similarly to Gamora, has a past of being an assassin, so Aelin just had to be the answer to this question.

3. Drax the Destroyer- An Unpredictable Character
Any character from the Falling Kingdoms series- Morgan Rhodes
The Falling Kingdoms series is such an unpredictable series because every single character has hidden agendas and manipulates their way through life. This series is full of cleverly crafted deception and any single character could pop up with an unexpected plot twist- that's why I love it so much.

4. Rocket- A Character with Killer Strategies
Victor- Vicious by V. E. Schwab
Vicious is such an interesting story because it's difficult to pick who the 'villain' really is. Regardless, Victor is as cunning as they come and has many killer strategies tucked up his sleeve. He's sneaky and is definitely a formidable opponent when it comes to carefully strategy.

5. Groot- A Bad-ass Character with a Big Heart
Morrigan- A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
Sarah J. Maas' characters are all be pretty bad-ass but The Morrigan is both epically bad-ass and super sweet at the same time. Mor's so fun, such a great friend and definitely has a big heart. She'll do anything to protect those she loves and I think she's very underrated in terms of this series.

6. Mantis- A Friendly and Powerful Side Character
Apollo- The Covanent series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Apollo is a God. That alone makes him awesome and ticks the powerful box but he also happens to be the funniest and friendliest guy out there! He may be a side character but he still plays a major part in the plot and he's easily my favourite God in this series. He makes me laugh like crazy whenever he appears on the page but he can also be super powerful and intimidating to his enemies- a perfect and lethal combination.

7. Nebula- A Character that Puts Their Mission Before Their Family
Sebastian Morgenstern- Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
Sebastian may like to pretend that he's doing everything for his family but, really, all his motives are his own and he won't let anyone get in his way. There's also a line in this book series that I really love which is 'blood isn't love.' It summarises this series so well and it's also a great explanation to Sebastian's character.

8. Yondu- The Annoying Character that You Cannot Help But Love
Peter- Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth
Yes, Peter's an ass. But, in both book and movie, he makes me laugh. I appreciate that at time he can be truly cruel but there are other times where he sarcasm genuinely amuses me and lightens the story a bit. So, for that, I do love him.

As always, I tag anyone who wants to do this tag!
Thanks for reading! Feel free to comment your thoughts. Stay amazing!
Chloe
